International loneliness

Like a parasite
on Saturday night
I feel loneliness bite
for no real reason

London’s’ bars are choc full of
international youth
Concealing international loneliness

sporting painted on happiness
which isolates me further

so I walk away from the buzz
home toward my comfy flat

feeling just that
flat.
